We wanted to climb up to Bear Lake but couldn’t find where people go up, so instead we climbed up Bear Mountain. I hadn’t climbed Bear Mountain in years and this route was new for me.
I had climbed Bear Mountain before but went up a different way. I didn’t feel like I could have remembered the way I went before, so we went a common way that started from Green Lake Road. This new way seemed to have a lot more of climbing through alders, dogwood thickets, entangling stunted Sitka Spruce, and many other fun nature things.
